Feature Dump

The paradox of everything for everyone begetting feature creep, or more appropriately “feature dump” was the inspiration for this piece. The observation of user interactions with bus fare systems resulted in the understanding that they try to accommodate all payment types in one system. However, they actually fail to successfully implement any one of these payment methods, let alone create a positive experience for its customers. The lamp contains an Edison, CF, LEDs, Halogen, and a candle, and switches or matches respectively for each. In addition the base of the lamp contains a board that rotates which switches operate each light between uses. The only consistent result is the candle (the oldest method).
